Have you ever wondered why children are so recklessly joyful, excited, and fascinated by the world
Through the eyes of a free child everything is new, everything is beautiful. There is so much trust, so much honesty.
I think some children get the privilege of living life the way it was intended to be lived - even if only for a short season. They get to laugh uncontrollably, they get to be loved by the rest of the world, they get to love endlessly and recklessly, explore and discover, and be amazed and excited for and by, what to us seems like, the smallest things - but they have a way of finding it precious.
Oh, to be like a child in a world full of adults - maybe then we'd still be amazed by others, excited about life, and share a little more love with the ones around us.
"The end of childhood is when things cease to astonish us. When the world seems familiar, when one has got used to existence, one has become an adult." ~Eugene Ionesco
