Newborns are precious - the rolls, the coos, the stretches, the sweet button nose - those kissable lips, cheeks, and my absolute favorite those teeny tiny feet. The newborn phase is so precious yet so incredibly short. You will want to capture every moment of this phase of life.
OUR STYLE
Our newborn photography style is classic and timeless. We want to capture the essence of your child in all of their beauty, wonder, and glory. As newborn photographers, we love photos that are simple, clean, and draw your eye to the beauty, the story, the life of the intricately designed, perfectly formed human being right in front of you.
SCHEDULING
Newborn sessions are completed within the first 5-12 days of life. It is recommended that you schedule your newborn session toward the end of your second or the beginning of your third trimester to ensure availability around your little ones due date.
CONSULTATION
All newborn sessions are tailored specifically to your little one and the story of your family. Sessions include a consultation with Kamilah. She will work closely with you to understand your vision, ideas, and expectations to create images that your family will treasure for years to come. Once your session is booked, we will send you a Newborn Guide with information on how to prepare for your photo session.
WARDROBE
Although most photos of baby are nude, a beautiful selection of fabric draping, wraps, and tiaras is provided for your session. For photos with parents professional hair and makeup artistry is recommended for stunning portraits; there is a list of recommended vendors in your Newborn Guide as well as clothing recommendations for parents.
YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
Photoshoots with newborns can seem to be a daunting task. There are sometimes tears, poo, pee and everything in between - be aware that this is totally normal and expected. We have time for changes, feeding sessions, and cuddles with mama. Our goal is to make sure you and baby are completely comfortable throughout the shoot. Kamilah works with great care throughout the shoot and she will explain each pose as she walks through the session.
RETOUCHING
Professional photo retouching is included in your session. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing. Though we focus on creating a natural look, we will edit your photos to your liking.
DISPLAYING YOUR ART
We offer high quality archival prints, gorgeous folio boxes, handcrafted albums, and elegant framed museum grade wall collections for a spectacular presentation and preservation of your beautiful memories.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to book your session. We have three newborn packages:

You are more than welcome to purchase items a la carte as well by; although booking a package offers great discounts. Session fees are $350/hour - this covers the time and talent of the photography team. Our typically clients spend anywhere from $750-$5000 on their heirloom products and fine art portraits. We don't offer discounts on our products because we stand behind the quality of the work we produce.
